COME!!! - Join us for a wonderful week in central Switzerland as we stay in the village of Engelberg (which means “Mountain of Angels”) and ski the Titlis mountain and it’s glacier.

Winter activities include downhill skiing that caters to all abilities – from spacious beginner slopes to very aggressive expert descents with lots of intermediate trails in-between!   The cross-country skiing, with over 40km of groomed trails, will also appeal to skiers of varied abilities and interests – many trails accessible by a gondola ride or two!   And the winter activities just go on and on… snowshoeing, winter walking, tobogganing (day or night under torchlight!), snow tubing, a walk inside the Glacier Grotto, or learn how to build your own igloo!!

Take the world’s first revolving gondola, Rotair, as it ascends to the 10,000 foot summit of Mt. Titlis, delivering fabulous views!   Then take the famous “Kings Run” from the summit to the village, which is one of the most beautiful runs of the Alps, at 7.5 miles long with a vertical drop of 6700 feet!!

After a full day of winter activities, we’ll be guests at the Terrace Hotel, built in 1904 and newly renovated, with all its “belle époque” charm.  The village with Benedictine Monastery, cheese factory, great shopping, and nightlife is only a short funicular ride down from our hotel.

We’ll spend our final day in Zurich where we’ll stay near the Old Town with all its charm - the famed ‘Bahnhofstrasse’, Old Churches, spectacular art galleries, and wonderful museums are close at hand.
